EXCITING NEWS FOR LAY SERVANTS
If you have been wanting to take the preaching course, Beadisciple.com is now offering the course online for the first time! The course will cost $75.00 plus purchase of the book From Pew to Pulpit, A Beginner's Guide to Preaching, by Clifton F. Guthrie.
While the date on the Beadisciple.com website is 2-15-2021, the course will actually be April 5-17. There will be a Zoom class either on Friday evening or Saturday morning, whichever fits your schedule the best.
The course is designed to help preaching using social media, and you will present a Zoom sermon at the conclusion of the course (with LOTS and LOTS of encouragement!).
We hope to be able to resume in-person courses this year. But in the meantime, I will keep you advised of online courses offered by us or othe districts in the Rio Texas Conference. If you do take a course outisde the Crossroads District, please let me know so I can update our database accordingly.
